OTIS | RIG & FUR

For this project, I modeled Otis the otter, inspired by the Eurasian otter. I designed the rig with an IK/FK switch and an expression panel to accommodate the animation process. To maximize flexibility, I implemented a spline IK setup for the back and tail.
 

The fur was created in Houdini, with base-to-tip color variations and density maps hand-painted in Substance 3D Painter.

SAL THE SQUINTZILLA | RIG

I was in charge of Sal's rig - Creating flexible rigs with IK/FK switches for scenes adaptability, limb and neck stretch setups for exaggerated animation, and UI setups using connection editor, nodes, and driven keys for ease of animation.

My tasks also included UV unwrapping and texturing Sal in Substance Painter, designing the intro scene with custom type and layout.
